Sunwing adds Puerto Plata as a new destination out of Greater Moncton!
As part of our winter sun schedule, Sunwing will be offering a new destination this winter to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, starting February 10th from the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM).
Like last year, YQM is offering more destinations and more frequencies to sun destinations than all of the New Brunswick airports combined.
YQM has several options during winter months by airlines offering direct non-stop flights to southern destinations. This upcoming winter will have 14 flights per week to 7 destinations. Transat Holidays is offering flights from Greater Moncton to Florida, Mexico, Cuba and Dominican Republic. Sunwing Vacations is offering direct flights to Florida, Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Mexico. Meanwhile, WestJet is also offering direct flights from Greater Moncton to Mexico and Florida. For details, check YQM’s website (www.cyqm.ca) under the “Flight Information” tab, contact the airlines directly or call your travel agent.
For the upcoming schedule, sun destination flights will begin with WestJet going to Cancun, Mexico on October 29th 2016 and the bulk of the flights will end for the season the first week of May 2017.
“As New Brunswick’s busiest airport, we’re very proud of what we have to offer in regards to flight options and are dedicated to excellence for our travelers.”, said Bernard LeBlanc, YQM President and CEO. “With yet another year of outstanding service, we continue to work hard with our airline partners on making the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport, the airport of preference for the Province.”
