Greater Moncton, N.B. – The Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) will be hosting its annual travel show on Saturday October 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Airport Terminal Building. The show aims to help our travelers from our region and neighboring communities plan their next vacation and learn more about the travel opportunities available when flying out of YQM. There will also be a draw for a trip for two from Greater Moncton for a 7-night all inclusive holiday (including roundtrip economy airfare) to the Majestic Elegance Beach Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for 2 adults, courtesy of Air Transat and the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana.

“By year-end we will have welcomed just under 700,000 passengers and more than 50,000 are sun seekers during the winter. With about 20 daily direct flights to major Canadian cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and Ottawa and 12 direct non-stop to various sun destinations, from February to May, we have many choices directly from YQM. This year we are happy to have Miami, Florida as a new destination offered by Sunwing as well as a second weekly flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic thanks to Air Transat. This is an example of information shared at this event.”, said Bernard LeBlanc, YQM President and CEO.

This is a free event and the public is invited to take part. Exhibitors include local travel agents, our partner airlines, nearby hotels, airport government agencies. Those attending the travel show will be offered free parking as well. Come join us for a day of information, education, fun and prizes!
