Greater Moncton International Airport Authority’s Board Member, Randolph P. Jones, B. Comm, CPA/CGA, CIRP, passed away Tuesday January 26 after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Jones joined the Airport Authority’s Board in July of 2013. He served on the Audit committee and the Environment committee, and just recently also joined the Human Resources committee. He was a nominee of the Town of Riverview.

Outside of the airport world, Randy had been providing insolvency advisory services for over 40 years to chartered banks, credit unions, secured lenders as well as to owners and management. He spent most of his career as a chartered accountant in the role of Vice President for PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.

A recognized leader in the community, he was also a strong contributor to his profession.
“Randy was dedicated to his role as a Board Member and contributed effectively to the committees he served on”, said Airport Authority Chair of the Board of Directors, Chris Bacich.

“We appreciated Randy’s commitment and contributions to better position the airport with its strategic objectives,” said Airport Authority President and CEO, Bernard LeBlanc.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview. A service celebrating Randy’s life will take place at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge St., Riverview, on Saturday, January 30 at 11:00am. There will be a reception in the church hall following the service.
