Expansion of non-stop flights to Calgary with WestJet from YQM for Summer 2023

GREATER MONCTON, NB, March 28, 2023 – The Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) is excited to announce WestJet’s expansion of its previously announced new non-stop route to Calgary for this summer, starting June 14, 2023.

During July and August, flight frequencies to Calgary increase from three to five times per week. Additionally, WestJet will also extend the Calgary service into September and October by maintaining two flights per week.

As previously announced, starting on June 29, WestJet will also offer two non-stop flights per week to Edmonton from YQM which combined with the expanded frequencies on the Calgary route represents daily service from YQM to Alberta in peak summer months.

In total, during the peak summer months of July and August there will be a daily flight between YQM and either Calgary or Edmonton, providing excellent non-stop access to Western Canada,” said Courtney Burns, President and CEO of the Greater Moncton International Airport Authority, Inc.
